The Home Loan Process

The first step in the home buying process is to speak to a lender, have them review your financial situation and goals, and determine the right loan to meet your needs. The loan process is not a one size fits all situation. Each loan is evaluated individually and there are many different variations based on credit, income, debt and other factors.

A qualified Lender will work cloesly with you to evaluate all of the criteria and determine how much home you can afford based on Lender standards and your comfort level for monthly payments. There are other factors to consider on top of your loan payments, such as taxes, home owners dues and maintenance. An expereinced Lender will work with you to review all of the costs of home ownership and make sure it's right for you.

Before you make an offer on a home, the Listing Agent and Seller will want to know you are ready and able to buy the home and will require a letter from your Lender stating that you are pre-approved or at least pre-qualified to purchase the home.
